My two oldest headed out in the wee hours this AM i{okay not that early, but early compared to the sleeping in they were used to.}/inbsp;I helped my 2nd grader pack his lunch, prayed over him for the year and walked him to the school bus. After 20 minutes the bus arrived and he was off to spend the majority of his day with his new fabulous teacher. i{She is fabulous because in the short time I met with her last week I found out she is a mom of 3 active boys and “gets” that boys don’t do well sitting still. She also explained that she keeps her students active in the room, it’s not just sitting and learning! nbsp;Woo Hoo!!!}/ibr /ibr //ibr /ibr //ibr /table cellpadding=”0″ cellspacing=”0″ class=”tr-caption-container” style=”float: right; text-align: center;”tbody

/tbody/tableMy middle schooler was on her own getting ready. She knows the drill, get it done and get out there and do it with style! Last year I was not allowed to walk her to the bus stop i{Gee…wonder why.}/inbsp;Her bus came so late that they were 10 minutes late to school. When she got home all she talked about was the “stupid bus” and the notebooks she needed by tomorrow. i{Why give us a class supply list when not everything is on there?!?} /iHad to spend $18 on 3 notebooks because mom was too sick to run around and find the least expensive price.br /br /div class=”separator” style=”clear: both; text-align: center;”/divMe, on the other hand stayed home with my littlest man who doesn’t start preschool until after Labor Day. It was a good thing, too since we both were not feeling well. He was cranky and felt feverish and I had a sore throat that progressed throughout the day. What a way to start the first day of school for me. I only had one child at home and we both felt lousy. No errands were accomplished at all. 🙁 br /br /That’s okay the grocery store can wait. Who needs to eat anyway?nbsp;Off to make some tea and honey…br /br /a href=”http://www.aghdesigns.com/images/blogs/siggy4.png” target=”_blank”img alt=”Anna” border=”0″ src=”http://www.aghdesigns.com/images/blogs/siggy4.png” //a
