div class=”separator” style=”clear: both; text-align: center;”/divSaturday I wanted to go out with my BFFnbsp;i{my hubby}nbsp;/iand spend time with him, but also wanted to get some blog writing in. I recently set up his new blognbsp;i{which is phenom if I do say so myself}/inbsp;and have been wanting him to start up some posts and pages so I can start marketing it.nbsp;i{No worries, I’ll be bragging on my man’s blog once it’s ready to go.}/inbsp;The problem with blogging, like many parental bloggers, is fitting in writing time in between child rearing.br /br /bThe answer?/bbr /br /A Blogging Date!!br /br /We have never had a date like that one before! The biggest benefit? It’s free!i {Well, free after we had dinner.}/ibr /br /Normally, decisions for our date nights go like this. br /br /i”Want to go out tonight?”/ibr /i”Yes!”/ibr /i”What do you want to do?”/ibr /i”Ummm…I dunno…what do you want to do?” /ibr /br /We’ve been dating for 20 years so it gets a little difficult to find new things to do without spending a lot of cash. We usually have dinner and then walk around the mall, or dinner and a movie. The problem for us is by the time we are done with dinner i{which is usually around 6PM}/inbsp;movies don’t start until until after 8PM which then gets us home late and costs us more money for the babysitter. br /br /Being a frugal couple we like to stay out a max of 6 hours. Our dates start around 4 or 5PM and we usually get home around 10PM i{after our phenomenal babysitter puts all the kiddies to bed}/i. If we decide to wander the mall, most stores close at 9PM. That is waaaaaay too early to go home because we want the children to be asleep in their beds without us having to do the grunt worki {although last Saturday they were little stinkers and were up when we got home}/i.br /br /On our blogging date we had dinner at PF Chang’s and then headed to the Barnes amp; Noble next door for some couples blogging…individually. It was a great date night because we were both doing something we love to do….together, but separately i{know what I mean?}/ibr /table cellpadding=”0″ cellspacing=”0″ class=”tr-caption-container” style=”margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;”tbodytrtd style=”text-align: center;”a href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vmAjuRXnQms/TjW7Przys9I/AAAAAAAAAgc/Ggn5RFrU2Hc/s1600/IMAG0331.jpg” imageanchor=”1″ style=”margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;”img border=”0″ height=”200″ src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vmAjuRXnQms/TjW7Przys9I/AAAAAAAAAgc/Ggn5RFrU2Hc/s200/IMAG0331.jpg” width=”146″ //a/td/trtrtd class=”tr-caption” style=”text-align: center;”My BFF working hard!br /div style=”text-align: left;”span class=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-size: small;”It’s sorta like going to the movies without the high price tag of the theater!
