I follow Dave Ramsey on Facebook and he (or rather one of his social networking guru’s) posted a link to this blog. It’s a great read! Take a minute and visit this blog and know that it can be done…even if it’s not done perfectly!br /br /Enjoy!br /a href=”http://thriftydecorchick.blogspot.com/2010/08/live-like-no-one-else.html”Thrifty Decor Chick: Live like no one else/abr /br /br /br /a href=”http://www.aghdesigns.com/images/blogs/siggy.png” target=”_blank”img alt=”Anna” border=”0″ src=”http://www.aghdesigns.com/images/blogs/siggy.png” //a

Visiting from SITS 31DBBB Challenge Day 20!br /br /I just read your quot;About Mequot; post! My husband and I did FPU in the fall of 2008. Although we don#39;t agree with EVERY point Dave Ramsey makes, there are a lot of points that we do agree with. Following what he said along with some of our own adjustments, we#39;ve been able to buy a house, have a baby, have retirement plans and are basically debt free! It#39;s so exciting when you finally take financial responsibility, you know?!
I have a couple of Dave Ramsey books, but I haven#39;t had time to read them. I#39;m 47, single mom with 2 teens amp; I have no credit cards. Oh, I get those credit card forms in the mail all the time, but I just cut them up amp; toss then in the trash. I have only had one credit card amp; it only had a $300 limit, but I soon cut that one up too.br /I do have a mortgage, but besides, utility bills, groceries, gas, etc, I have no debt. Of course, I don#39;t make a lot of money, so I still stress over money.
