One of those blogs informed me that I would not be able to file my tax return until February 14th!nbsp; That was a bit surprising and a little frustrating because I had already had most of my taxes done before January 31st. If I had been able to file them early, I’m thinking I would be getting a deposit into my bank account right about now.nbsp; *sigh*br /br /Anyway, today is the day that I am sending in my taxes.nbsp; We are getting a refund which will go towards our debt reduction plan.nbsp; I know that strikeDave Ramsey/strike people say that if you are getting a refund, you are letting the government borrow your money and to not do that.nbsp; I agree…somewhat.br /br /The problem is…I like getting a chunk of money at the beginning of the year!nbsp; iThere, I said it. That’s a load off my chest./inbsp; I don’t know if it’s an emotional thing or what. But really, who doesn’t like having a lump some-o-cash put into your bank?!?nbsp; i{ME ME ME!!!!}/ibr /br /The reality for us is that we have taken the maximum amount of reductions possible and we still can’t get Uncle Sam to give us all our money during the year.nbsp; Instead of being mad at the fact that the government is making money on our money; I’m just going to look at the benefit of a tax refund. And this year, the tax refund will eradicate the majority of our final debt allowing us to become debt-free i{aside from the mortgage}/i by summer.nbsp; Woo Hoo!br /br /All in all better than owing taxes…don’t you think?br /br /emstrongEDIT***Well, crap…I have to wait two more days.nbsp;Should we start a pool on if all the government paperwork will be ready or not?***/strong/embr /nbsp; br /a href=”http://www.aghdesigns.com/images/blogs/siggy4.png” target=”_blank”img alt=”Anna” border=”0″ src=”http://www.aghdesigns.com/images/blogs/siggy4.png” //a
