Y’all, the Ibotta App!
I am putting together a brand new money saving/money making list and I stumbled on something BIG!
First…the background story. A couple months ago I was reading my All You magazine and they talked about an app that has virtual coupons. I like saving money, so I dog-eared the page and decided to look into it later.
A few weeks later, I remembered that I had planned on getting the Ibotta app so I looked it up and downloaded it to my phone. I happened to be going to the grocery store so I looked through the items for Kroger and found quite a few savings. To unlock the savings, I had to either take a poll or watch a short vid. No biggie. I’ll try anything. Once I got my groceries home, I checked off the products (or scanned the products), took a picture of the receipt and banked my $2.
The next time I went shopping, I found that hubby’s favorite beer was giving $4 back.
SCORE! I found my new BFF!
That time around I banked $8. Just enough to have them send me a lil’ ol chunk to my Paypal account. To date, I’ve received $30 back from my groceries! Cha Ching!! Plus, I’m apparently on a team so somehow I’ve earned a little extra percentages from other people shopping. (Don’t worry, they don’t tell you what everyone buys, they just give you updates on your percentage increasing).
Here is the exciting news!
If you sign up as a new user, they give you $10 in your account for signing up!
Say what?!? $10 is the minimum you need to withdraw money!!
Update: They recently changed the minimum to $20. I guess too many people figured out the $10 freebie so they upped the minimum.
