Cash only…hmmm…have you ever wondered if it can be done? I’ll let you know next week…
As I type this, I am sitting on a deck of a rental home overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. I know what you’re thinking, “Why are you blogging while you are on vacation?!?”
Like any family, babies nap, kids get burned and need to be out of the sun, and mom needs some computer time.
Quick story before I go…
There are 11 of us on this trip (yes, you read that right…6 of them are children). Last night we started a fire in the fire pit to make smores *YUMMY* and then we sent the kids off to bed. As the adults sat around the fire, I remembered that it had been 16 years since the same group of us had been around the fire. The difference…three of the five were looking up infromation on their cell phone. I just had to giggle that we were learning about the different jellyfish there were by googling on cell phones by the fire. (My son had picked up one earlier in the day and we were trying to figure out what kind it was). How far we have come in technology!
A cash-only vacation is possible! We went to New Orleans for five days in May and ONLY SPENT CASH!! It was the most rewarding vacation we#39;ve ever been on!br /br /P.S. I love reading your blog. It inspires me as I travel down the road to financial freedom!
