Day 5 is coming to an end and it was a nice 3 day weekend in our household! We managed to not eat out i{at restaurants}/i this weekend which, for our family, is a feat! We love to go out driving and hang out which eventually leads us to a kid-friendlynbsp;restaurant at some point i{or two}/i on weekends.br /br /Today the kids were home and one of our kiddos is banned from screens i{tv, games, computer}/i for a week so there was no TV watching today! It was also raining so going outside was not happening. It was a miracle Inbsp;survived because I bialmost /i/bgave in to the electronic babysitter for a few hours so I could get some things done.br /br /Tonbsp;alleviatenbsp;the boredom of our very avid screen watcher, my husband took him to Monkey Joe’s to burn some of his pent up energy. Monkey Joe’s is a place where they have 6+ or so bouncy things for kids to play on. Normally it would cost us $5 i{with a discount}/i to take just one kid there, but we spent bspan class=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-size: large;”$0/span/b!!br /br /div class=”separator” style=”clear: both; text-align: center;”a href=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WmbYnW2N7zs/TmVyoulXhxI/AAAAAAAAAmA/Ce1fU-Kxd-c/s1600/mj2.jpg” imageanchor=”1″ style=”margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;”img border=”0″ height=”191″ src=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WmbYnW2N7zs/TmVyoulXhxI/AAAAAAAAAmA/Ce1fU-Kxd-c/s320/mj2.jpg” width=”320″ //a/divbr /br /bHow did we do it?/bbr /bbr //bbr /One of our neighbor’s daughter works there and showed up one day and gave us 3 passes i{one for each kid}/i for a free jump. We were going to go the weekend she gave them to us, but our littlest man had gotten sick and we didn’t want to spread his yucky germs. The passes had been sitting there for a month striketaunting my kids/strike just waiting to be used.br /br /div class=”separator” style=”clear: both; text-align: center;”a href=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JGyellVmEeI/TmVyt7YCdTI/AAAAAAAAAmE/0Dz4X4F79ok/s1600/mj.jpg” imageanchor=”1″ style=”margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;”img border=”0″ height=”320″ src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JGyellVmEeI/TmVyt7YCdTI/AAAAAAAAAmE/0Dz4X4F79ok/s320/mj.jpg” width=”191″ //a/divbr /I think my husband was there with our oldest boy for 3+ hours. I showed up after our little man’s nap and wore him out for an hour. They were a sweaty, tired mess when we got home.br /br /Needless to say, dinner was late and it was very tempting to stop at Littlenbsp;Caesar’s for a $5 pizza since it was right next door. But I had planned ahead and tossed a few Cliff Bars in my purse before walking out the door. It held us over until I could get home and make this:br /div class=”separator” style=”clear: both; text-align: center;”/divbr /div class=”separator” style=”clear: both; text-align: center;”a href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aMn_glM5UDs/TmVz9XOC2MI/AAAAAAAAAmU/NZyivZWVR6k/s1600/bcasserole.png” imageanchor=”1″ style=”margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;”img border=”0″ height=”320″ src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aMn_glM5UDs/TmVz9XOC2MI/AAAAAAAAAmU/NZyivZWVR6k/s320/bcasserole.png” width=”280″ //a/divdiv class=”separator” style=”clear: both; text-align: center;”br //divChristie at a href=”http://keirajoy07.blogspot.com/”Bushel and a Peck/a has been posting some AH-MAZING breakfast pictures so I was in the mood for a breakfast casserole!
