Tonight was our weekly date night that my husband and I have. Ironically it is the only night during the week that nothing else is scheduled within our family so we take advantage of the one free evening. As I mentioned in my introduction to the a href=”https://mydebtfreeroad.com/2011/08/september-30-days-of-nothing-challenge.html”30 Days of Nothing Spending Challenge/anbsp;my husband and I keep our date nights to nurture our relationship as husband and wife.br /br /a href=”https://mydebtfreeroad.com/2011/09/30-day-challenge-day-9-date-night.html”Last week/a we were blessed to have a friend come over and stay with our kids, but we obviously don’t want to ask her every single week. i{I am blessed when people volunteer, but I make sure that I don’t take advantage of theirnbsp;generosity}/i.br /br /We asked our fabulous babysitter to come and stay with the kids while we went out to dinner. Not only do my kids love her i{and want us to leave}/i but I come home to a clean kitchen! Tonight she made cupcakes for me for an event we have to go to tomorrow. Love her!br /br /As I mentioned earlier, we did go out to dinner and we almost went to a movie, but ended up skipping it because we were running late. I will admit it was a nice break to go out and have someone serve me dinner. It was also refreshing to be able to just hang out with my best friend without having to be anywhere in particular. Sometimes you just gotta do that.br /br /When I got back, I checked up on a href=”http://keirajoy07.blogspot.com/”Christie/a to see how her day of the challenge went and she linked her post to another blogger who is doing a challenge and had hit a rough spot. It was amazing the difficulties she went through and the revelation that changed her perspective. It was very convicting to read a href=”http://onetwogrow.blogspot.com/2011/09/hit-rough-spot-but-found-light.html”Hit a Rough Spot but Found the Light/a. Read it. It will move you – literally.br /br /Have a great weekend!br /br /div class=”separator” style=”clear: both; text-align: center;”a href=”http://keirajoy07.blogspot.com/”img border=”0″ height=”320″ src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TXpN8xZl25E/TnQIWfPQ72I/AAAAAAAAAno/dKsaBKCJcm0/s320/bpchallenge.jpg” width=”277″ //a/divbr /br /img alt=”Anna” border=”0″ src=”http://www.aghdesigns.com/images/blogs/siggy4.png” /
